Friends, family and volunteers spent the day at Roaring River fishing with kids who have been in or who are currently in foster care. Missouri Department of Conservation's First Hole Program provided fishing poles, lures and tags for participants. We are thankful for those who came to help kids fish and spend time on a beautiful summer day.
Evan caught his love for fishing at Roaring River. He would have loved spending the day sharing his love of fishing and the outdoors with everyone there.

The 6th grade summer school students gave back in big ways- donating funds to provide recess equipment, support AHS soccer, and help fund Senior Night shirts through Evan's Voice- a special gesture in what would have been Evan's senior year.
Many of these students knew Evan, and his cousin Gretchen is part of this group. It means so much that her classmates chose to honor him. We're honored to match their donation to help continue to share Evan's story.
We were honored to donate shirts to this year’s Aurora Youth Soccer Camp in memory of Evan. Soccer was a big part of Evan’s life, and he would have been out on that field with the rest of the kids this week. Sharing his love for the game with these young athletes means the world to us.
